Come join the Beyond Boundaries team of volunteers for climbing with the Autism Society of Central VA at Peak RVA!
Belay Certification Required (Interested in becoming belay certified? Email volunteers@beyondboundariesrva.org for more information!)
Date: 1/19/25
Volunteer Time: 11:30am-3:30pm
Place: Peak RVA (1375 Overbrook Rd, Richmond, VA 23220)
Wear comfortable clothing and shoes and plan to spend about 4.5 hours total on this trip. Make sure to bring a water bottle as well.
If you can't stay for the entire climb, don't worry! We'd love to have you come belay for any of the three following time slots:
Group 1: 12pm-1:15pm
Group 2: 1pm-2:15pm
Group 3: 2:15pm-3:30
Due to the lengthy nature of this program, lunch will be provided to all volunteers!! Please email katie@beyondboundariesrva.org with any dietary concerns or allergies.
While we will have plenty of gear on-site for participants and volunteers to use, here are some things that could be helpful for you to bring:
-Climbing harness
-Belay Device
-Climbing shoes
-Water bottle
